One of the best chain burgers in Japan. Awesome flavor and quality! The cheese fries are a nice touch. Tastes just like they do in the USA.
Good but overpriced. Got the smokeshack (cheese bacon burger), small fries and a small shake, and it came to ¥1825. The burger was pretty good, nice patty, bacon and tasty sauce, but quite small. The crinkle fries were nice, and the blackberry shake was delicious.I went at 1:30 p.m.on a weekday and only waited about 20 minutes, so not too bad. I managed to get a table right away too.But with gourmet burger joints all over Tokyo offering better food for the same or less cost, I won't be returning to the Shake Shack anytime soon.
We fall in love with the New York burgers from Shake Shack so when we found out that there was also Shack Shack in Japan we sorted a way to put it somewhere in the meals plan... Ok, we went to Japan to try Japanese food but these burgers are awesome.. Unfortunately, the taste its not exactly the same as the US burgers and the burgers are way smaller... We wanted to have the same experience as in USA but it was not quite the same.. It was good but not great...
Almost similar to we have, but with a Japanese touch. It was great to find another branch of Shake Shack in Japan, I was told that there are only two (2) of it all over Japan. The restaurant is good overall and similar to any other Shake Shack branch, my observations are on overall branches:- Wooden uncomfortable seats, wish they replace them with something more relaxing.- Fizzy drinks refill, although they I was told the drinks are refillable it is still subject to service attendant's assistance.- Oily food, the sandwich (bun) is full of oil and makes the sandwich very heavy to digest.- Cheese sauce, you can order french fries either plain or with cheese sauce, the cheese doesn't taste good and they pour it directly on the fries.Remember that as a customer I need to feel comfortable, so please give us that feeling.
Really nice pattyI recommend the shack burger.Single is enough for a girl.Long queue but dont worry they well managed so it is fast.
Great quality beef patty, juicy and flavorsome which is much harder to find in Japan than one would expect. If you're an East Coast kid feeling a little homesick you're in for a treat. The Vanilla hand spun shake was fantastic.I'd suggest grabbing a table and then ordering so you don't get stuck eating standing up
Wasn't too bad. Not as good as the shake shack we had in NY many years ago, but that might be due to having eaten many great burgers since then! Nice restaurant, in a convenient setting. If you're craving western food, then this isn't a bad option.
I got the most simple cheeseburger they offer and I really enjoyed it. It's very good quality and they're made it as close as possible to NY shake shacks as possible. The fries were awesome and I can't wait to try the cheese fries. And the shakes. The caramel pretzel shake was satisfying me with little sips of it, then I took a big sip and felt like I was in a Willy Wonka's factory-like situation. The Dominique Ansel shake will also be something I'll try next time, too. I'm not sure if you have to wait in the big line to eat inside, but I'm sure the people outside can let you know. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger and I have both said, I'll be back.
If you know shake shack, it shouldn't surprise you that the lines are usually out the door all weekend.Very clean with quick turnover. A taste of home for New York expats and an exciting experience to share with locals.
Very few places in Japan have a perfect burger, but Shake Shack IS one of them. Price is slightly high-ish for a smaller amount of meat, but the quality is worth it. Fries are amazing. Shakes are just okay, though.
